Thank you/Merci to our parents, grandparents and guardians for attending our Conferences on Thursday afternoon and evening. We enjoyed meeting with you and welcome you back any time. “At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents” Jane D. Hull

Staff vs. Students Basketball Game to raise money for the Sooke Food Bank was an entertaining event to participate in and to watch. $102 was raised from selling tickets to the event. Thanks to the students and staff who came out to play for such a worthy cause. Final score 22-8 for the staff (not that they’re bragging)

Change for Diabetes Campaign Continues: Currently Mr. Elm’s class is in the lead; however, it is rumored that Mrs. Bridal’s class is being very quiet about their donations so far. Classes will have one week left to bring in loose change (bills are accepted too) to help the Sooke Harbourside Lions Club raise money for Juvenile Diabetes. The class that can collect the most money wins a pizza party.

Student Support:  We will be starting the annual IEP renewals shortly.  Parents of students with an IEP will receive information in the mail over the next few weeks.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mr. Nguyen at nnguyen@sd62.bc.ca
