Na’tsa’maht Agreement (Being of one mind, one spirit. Together, working side by side, supporting each other, walking together) is our most current agreement and replaces the Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement we had been working from over the last five years.

Great Milne’s Landing Food Fight begins today – each year schools in the Milne’s Landing Family of Schools do our part to fight hunger at this time of year. Each class collects non-perishable food items over the next two weeks. We calculate the winning school by dividing the number of donations by the number of students in each school. The biggest winner is the Sooke Food Bank!

Wednesday
Hour of Code: December 4-7th is Computer Science Education Week, and Journey is going to celebrate this event with a day of Hour of Code. Dunbar, Jean, Syme, Horton, Maragh, and Donegani’s Technology classes are participating so far. Students will partake in a coding activity for a full block, and UVic computer science masters´student Kamel Alrashedy will be joining us for the day to help encourage students to learn to code.
