This Week @ Journey September 28-October 2

Staffing Update – We are saying farewell for now to Ms. Deirdre Warren who has been our Communication Facilitator for the last few years.  Welcome Dana Savage who will be our new CF working in Mystical Main and Utopia.  Welcome Mr. Tayler Bourne who will be teaching in Div. 5 every Wednesday in Utopia.  Ms. Marina McClintock added another day and will be teaching each Friday in Div. 16.

Monday – Non-Instructional Day

Tuesday

Zones – Cohort Learning Groups will rotate this week. Students should go to last week’s zone Tuesday morning and teachers will let them know their new zone this week.

Wednesday 

Orange Shirt Day– Every Child Matters.  Today staff and students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt to honour those who survived residential school and remembering those who didn’t.

Please fill out your child’s Forms

Online https://consent.sd62.bc.ca/apps/OnlineConsent?logout=1 and paper-base consent forms (envelopes sent home by Monday) please fill out the consent forms as soon as possible for your child(ren).  The daily health form needs to be filled in once; however, followed each day.  Online permission is also needed for students to use technology at school.  Please also note that your child’s pictures and name will not appear in the yearbook if you do not give consent.

Wash your Hands, be Kind, and learn at least one new thing this week.
