This Week @ Journey November 20-24

Thank you/Merci/Hych’ka to PAC families for the generous donations to our school. Each classroom is supplied with $200 for supplies and field trips, as well as the numerous special requests for activities from Band to Athletics. Merci for sponsoring the Musical Theatre Presentation – Birth of the Canadian Pacific Railway. All requests were passed at the PAC meeting Tuesday.

Parent Drivers are needed for:

Monday Nov 20: 7/8 Boys B-Ball Away game at Maria Montessori (Gordon Head Location) Team leaves at 2:30pm

Monday Nov 27: 7/8 Boys B-Ball Away game at SMU. The team leaves at 2:30pm

Monday 

Lego Robotics Club 3:15-4:30 pm in Ms. Dvorak’s room

Boys’ B-Ball meeting at recess and game @ Maria Montessori afterschool (students leave at 2:30). We will know at recess if games are forfeited because of transportation.

Lost and Found – all items donated to charity after school today. 

Tuesday

Student Leadership Mtg @ lunch in Mme. Abell’s room 

Tea in the foyer – in the foyer for some herbal tea compliments of our Aboriginal Department. Students are encouraged to bring their own mug.

Edison Robotics Club 3:15-4:30 pm in Ms. Dvorak’s Room

Grade 6/7 B-Ball @ Journey vs. SMUS and GNS. 3:45 start time

Homework Club for Ms. Dvorak’s students at lunch by appointment in your classroom

Sk8 Park – weather permitting @ lunch for student with waiver forms.

Wednesday 

Subway Lunch Day @ lunch $3.50 each. Cash and munch cards accepted. Munch cards available in the office for $20

Sk8 Park – at lunch today with Mr. Donegani (weather permitting).

Outdoor Club – listen for announcements about where to meet at lunch. Remember to wear clothes to suit the weather

Early Dismissal @ 11:58 Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences today 1-4:40 and 5:30-7 pm.
