 Our Halloween Dance was a huge success and thank you to all the parent and staff volunteers who helped make it run smoothly. There were some amazing costumes and judges struggled to come up with only one winner for each category so there are a few ties!

Book Fair – The Journey Middle School Literacy Team would appreciate help from parents to run the November Book Fair. Please contact Laurie Gitzel to volunteer during the following times and dates:

Fire Drill – today at 10:20 am

CHESS  Club- The Journey Chess Club is up and running. It meets today at Lunch in the Project Room next to the Main Computer Lab with Mr. Bryan. The focus is on fun and learning the fine art of chess play in a calm, kind and non-competitive environment.

Student Council meets today at lunch

Vocal Group – meets today in the Band Room at lunch

Jazz Band meets today at 8:15 am in the Band Room

Field Trip – Mt. Olympus Neighbourhood to Commonwealth Pool

S’mores by the fire – Ms. Johnston has booked her class to enjoy s’mores at our very own fire pit. Students should wear clothes suitable for a campfire.
