This Week @ Journey Jan. 30-Feb. 3

Registration for Late French Immersion continues at Journey. Students currently in grade 5 can register online for next year. The minimum number is 18 students and we are getting closer to having that number!

It’s Volleyball season at Journey – As you can see from our schedule below! We also have open volleyball at lunch for all students. Come out and play volleyball at lunchtime. The days announced each morning so listen carefully! Thanks to all our coaches.

Monday

Circus Workshop – If your child doesn’t come home today it might be because they ran away with the circus! Today all students in Grade 7 will have an opportunity to learn a few skills!

7/8 Boys’ Volleyball games @ Central afterschool – Go, Dragons Go!

First Nations presenters Earl Buxton Jr. and JB Williams will be sharing their knowledge to Div. 3, 4, and 5 regarding BC natural disasters

Tuesday

Grade 8 Girls’ volleyball practice 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Jazz band 8:30 a.m. in the band room.

Tea Time in Foyer – students can enjoy a free cup of tea today at recess. Students are encouraged to bring their own mugs. 

Culture Club – meet at lunch outside Ab Ed room

Thursday

Exploratories – bring everything you need (especially those exploratories that often require a change of clothes – school is so much fun)

Robotics Club – Interested in learning more about Robotics? Come to Ms. Dvorak’s room afterschool today from 3-4 pm and have some fun!

Volleyball Practice – Boys in grades 6 & 7 interested in playing volleyball on our school team this year have a practice afterschool from 3-4 in the gym.

Gamers’ Club at lunch in the Main Lab (Mrs. Bridal would like all students to know that if you are running into the room or rough housing you will be asked to leave)

Junior Boys volleyball team will be playing their first Jamboree at Dunsmuir at 3:45 pm.  Parent drivers to meet at the Journey foyer at 2:20pm. Play well and have fun Dragons!
