Happy New Year to all of our Journey Families. We hope you’ve had time to enjoy the season and these unusually cold temperatures for our area. The following schedule looks rather tame considering all the activity leading up to our Winter Break!

Monday

Tuesday

Jazz band 8:30 a.m. in the band room.

Tea Time in Foyer – students can enjoy a free cup of tea today at recess. Students are encouraged to bring their own mugs.

Sk8 Club today @ lunch (weather permitting). Waivers must be in to Mr. Donegani or Mr. Kovacik to be eligible to participate (forms are in the office)

Culture Club – meet at lunch outside Ab Ed room

Div. 9/10 Homework Club – Ms. Kilpatrick’s classroom at lunch

Divisions 1 & 2 Math Support – at lunch in Mr. Constable’s room

Div. 11 – Homework Support at lunch in Ms. Dvorak’s room

Div. 11 Math Club – after school 3-4 p.m. in Ms. Dvorak’s room

Wednesday – PAC Lunch today is Sushi and Hotdogs

Lego builders club – meets at lunch in Ms. Dvorak’s room. Everyone welcome 

Div. 9/10 Homework Club – Ms. Maragh’s classroom at lunch

Math Support – at lunch in Mr. Constable’s room for Divisions 1 & 2

Thursday

First Term Recognition Assembly 1:30 in the gym. Honour Role (grade 8 only) and Effort Role certificates will be presented today.

Friday

Chess Club @ lunch in Mrs. Syme’s class. Beginners and experts are welcome to join in.
