Celebration of Excellence and Achievement for Students of African Descent (Black Grad 2026). Join us for the 4th Celebration of Excellence and Achievement for students in our communities  (a.k.a. Black Grad). If you or your child are advancing from elementary to middle school, middle school to high school, or graduating from high school, college, or university (class of 2026), we want to honour you!

Who can participate:
Students who identify as African, Caribbean, or Black and are:

• Transitioning into middle or high school (Fall 2026), or
• Graduating from high school, college, or university (Class of 2026).
  There areno academic or additional requirements.

Important dates:

• Registration deadline:Wednesday, December 31, 2025
• Late submissions will be placed on a waitlist
• Event date:Friday, May 8, 2026, at the University of Victoria

This free, family-friendly celebration honours academic milestones through cultural traditions, guest speakers, music, and a reception.
