Hello Friends of Sooke Parks,

We’re getting ready for our 3rd Annual Spooky Pumpkin Walk on Saturday, November 1st at Pineridge Park – see the poster below!

Our events are only possible thanks to amazing volunteers, and we’d love your help this year. If you can lend a hand, please reply to this email and let us know which time(s) you are available.

Here’s what we need:

🎃 Saturday, November 1st

1:00 – 3:00 pm: Pumpkin Drop-Off (2 people)
Welcome visitors at the park entrance and direct them where to place their pumpkins – or help collect them for later setup.

3:00 – 5:00 pm: Pumpkin Placement & Lighting Crew (6+ people)
Decorate the trail and park with pumpkins and get them glowing (with LED tea lights) by 5 pm.

5:00 – 7:30 pm: Welcome Tent (2 – 4 people)
Greet guests, share event info, and help keep the evening running smoothly. Tent and chairs provided.

7:30 – 8:30 pm: Clean-Up Crew (20+ people)
Our most important shift! Once the walk ends at 7:30, we’ll gather all pumpkins to load into the farm truck. With enough hands, clean-up goes quickly.

Thank you so much for helping make this new community tradition a success — we couldn’t do it without you! As always, please share this event with friends and family… and bring us your pumpkins 🎃

Warmly,
Helen and all of us at,
Friends of Sooke Parks Society
