School News:
Journey to Japan – Unfortunately we have had to postpone our Friendship Exchange at this time. We had 21 students and three teachers scheduled to head off on March 12 to Tokyo and Natori, Japan. Thank you to the families, Ms. Johnston, Mr. van Hooydonk, and trip organizer, Ms. Dvorak for your understanding and hard work putting the trip together and now working at moving forward with the next steps.
Jr. Skill Canada Competition on Friday – Reminder to all Wind Turbine, Gravity Car, and Robotics Teams that your permission forms need to be turned into your coaches asap so you can compete on Friday at Jr. Skills Canada. Your coach has extra forms if you’ve lost your original.

Magic the Gathering/Pokémon at blue tables
Athletics:
Join Ping Pong Paul and come out and play table tennis. This is a group of seniors in our community committed to sharing their knowledge with our youth. Mondays and Wednesdays 3 – 5 pm in the multipurpose room. Come and learn to play! First half hour can be for coaching for those who want it and then open play, probably double’s as we only have 1 table to start with. We have plenty of used bats and balls, but bring your own if you wish.

Jr. Skills Canada – Ms. Nadeau and Brittany’s classes will be heading to Camosun College today to participate and observe the competitions.
Athletics:
Lacrosse Course offered to some PE classes all day by Naomi Walser (teachers have signed up their classes)
Gr. 8/9 Hockey Academy Game – all classes welcome to attend our annual hockey game with grade 8 students from Journey and grade 9 students from EMCS. The concession will be open for spectators to purchase snacks. Students and staff will walk both ways through the Throup Road/SEAPARC Trail.
