Christmas food drive for Sooke Food Fight is on at Journey. Hundreds of non-perishable food items have been brought in already and we will continue the Food Fight all week long. There are two ways for a class to win a pizza party: Most items collect; an/or most money collected! Mr. Long’s class had to come to the office looking for more boxes and Ms. Lennox’s class raised $397 so far and that’s not even counting their Lucky 7 fundraiser which begins Monday!

Congratulations to Amity, Koa, Kianu, Allison, Christopher for their outstanding wrestling performances over the weekend. You made Journey Proud! Thanks Mrs. Federici for coaching our team.

‘Spaghetti in a Big Red Cup‘ fundraiser will be happening on Thursday Dec 17th. For $5 students have their choice of spaghetti with meat sauce, vegetarian or plain butter noodles with garlic bread and a juice box. Sales will begin Friday Dec 6-Wednesday Dec 16th in the foyer. Lunch will be delivered by the elves of Div 5 &6!

Fundraising Christmas extravaganza and events – block 2 & 3, – Teacher sponsored activities to fundraise for the food bank.

BAND/STRINGS 9:00–2:30…Tour of the legislative buildings…..concert at legislative buildings….Grade 8 band and a string quartet involved
