 JAPAN FRIENDSHIP EXCHANGE – Journey is hosting 22 students from Natori, Japan from March 28^th-April 2^nd. If you and your child are interested in considering hosting a student please encourage your child to attend our Japan Friendship Exchange meeting on Monday at lunch in the library.

For almost two decades Journey has had a friendship agreement with the city of Natori. Every two years students from Journey and grade nine students from EMCS have the opportunity to travel with some of our teachers to Japan. On the alternating year we have the opportunity to host them in Sooke.

If you are interested in hosting we ask that the student have a room of their own and that you welcome them by sharing our culture and language. For more information please contact Ms. Kelly Dvorak at kdvorak@sd62.bc.ca

Stick in the Mud Coffee: Our amazing local coffee shop has roasted our very own Journey “Dragon” coffee beans that you can buy for all of your friends and family for Christmas gifts (along with their other popular roasts) at $20 per bag. Order forms available in the office.

Skatepark club @ lunch break – You can bring skateboards, scooters, BMX bikes (no mountain bikes) or rollerblades and join this fast paced club.

Wednesday
