This Week @ Journey February 6-10, 2017

Remembrance Day Awards – Congratulations to Teagan L., Mindalynn F., Cameron G., Emma H., Lily S., Jade B., Samantha O., Esther M., Nadia S. for their outstanding work. Thank you to local veteran, Mr. Ron Gulmans and his wife, Mrs. Doris Gulmans for presenting the recognition certificates and cash prizes to our students.

Career Cruising – Grade 8 students will begin choosing courses for next year. EMCS councellors will come to Journey to provide information to us. Students must have a Career Cruising permission for completed before they can register for courses. These were part of the package of forms sent home at the beginning of the year. You will receive an email if we have NOT received your child’s form.

Masquerade Ball – Our next dance is Thursday, February 16 and we need parent support for selling food, glow sticks and for set up. Please leave your name at the office or with a member of the PAC if you can help.

Lost and Found – please encourage your child to look in the lost and found bins for their clothing. The next load will be donated to charity on Friday, February 10.

Save the Tigers fundraiser – Hot Chocolate $2. Sold all week (except Wednesday)

Tuesday

Popcorn Sale @ lunch – Students involved in the Fundraising for Solar Panels Exploratory are selling Popcorn in the foyer

Grade 8 Girls’ volleyball practice 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Jazz band 8:30 a.m. in the band room.

Tea Time in Foyer – students can enjoy a free cup of tea today at recess. Students are encouraged to bring their own mugs. 

Culture Club – meet at lunch outside Ab Ed room in Mt. Olympus
