This Week @ Journey May 23-27

Congratulations Students and thank you Mr. Bryan for organizing!-The Journey Floor Hockey Championship Cup Final was played this last Wednesday at lunch in the gym. The Destroyers (student team) squared off against the Dream Catchers (staff team). The Dream Catchers started off strongly scoring the first goal and seemed to be on a roll, however, the young spirit of The Destroyers proved to be too much for the staff team and the students rattled off four straight goals as the staff faded over three periods of fun, playful, and full of shenanigans hockey. The end result was The Destroyers 4 … Dream Catchers 2. All in all a great tournament and with true Dragon Spirit in play throughout.

Journey Musical Theatre – This year’s show’s theme is the 1980’s. The show is at EMCS on June 8, 9, and 10 at 7 pm. Tickets will be on sale at Journey, EMCS and Shoppers.  On June 9^th at 9:30 am there is a special show for Journey students.

PAC Info:

Fundraiser for Fort McMurray!! There will be a Bottle Drop and Drive at Journey Parking lot May 24,25,&26. Drop off your bottles when you drop off your kids 8-9 am. If you have an hour to help out on any of the days we are looking for more volunteers. Students and parents welcome.

PAC Hot Lunch – The last PAC lunch day of this school year will be June 1^st. There is a Year End BBQ on June 24^th. Volunteers needed, if you are able to help out please email Teresa mason92@telus.net

PAC Meeting-The last PAC meeting of the year is June 14^th at 7pm in the Journey Library. Every one welcome. Snacks provided. The first PAC Meeting of the new school year is September 13^th at 7 pm in the Journey Library.`
