Take a look at the great pictures Mr. Bedard has up on our screen in the foyer. Cassidy C. was Pink Student of the Day for going above and beyond to make the day a success.
Musical Theatre auditions start this week. Any students in Grade 6, 7, and 8 can audition. If students missed the information meetings last week, see Mrs. Fader. This year’s theme for the show is the 1980’s. Good Luck!
Journey Rugby Club is up and running. Hey – “We run to be here” AND get physical on the rugby pitch. Great turn out Thursday at Noon on the main field. 25 students, both boys and girls, from all grades participated in drills and touch (non-contact) rugby. Rugby Club meets to play each Thursday from 12:15 to 12:50 and the focus is on fun, learning the art of rugby and getting some great exercise as the weather improves. All are welcome. See Mr. Bryan for more information.
Journey Inter Mural Floor Hockey Tournament – Super turn out on Friday at lunch for the inaugural information meeting about the upcoming floor hockey tournament. 30 students – both boys and girls attended. Five teams are already in place with another 3 or 4 teams building plus the dreaded staff team. We’re off to the races. Please return your team sign-up sheets to either Ms. Johnston or Mr. Bryan as soon as possible. First games of the tournament begin as soon as we’re all back from Spring Break. First week in April is tournament lift off and the staff team of giant egos is already practicing!

Thank you to all the parents who helped out at the Spring Dance. Parents are an important part of what makes Journey a great place to Run. All parents welcome to attend the next PAC meeting March 8th at 7pm in the library.

Got Scrap Metal!! PAC will be having a scrap metal drive over spring break. The bin will be in the Sooke Elementary parking lot from March 12th-27th. All funds go back to our students!!
