Thank you/Merci/Hych’ka Band Paint Night – Thanks to parents, students, and custodians for helping us to raise $800 in such a fun and relaxing way to raise funds for our Band Trip.  It was a great night!!

Staffing Update – Mr. Glenn Bedard will be leaving us this September!  He has served our school extremely well for five years and now he is off to new adventures as vice-principal of Dunsmuir Middle School.  We will definitely miss his humour and energy, but know Dunsmuir will be happy to have him.  We welcome Ms. Andrea Millen who is currently the vice-principal at Dunsmuir.  Ms. Millen brings with her many talents, especially in Student Support Services.

Rugby Coaches Corner: What a week of rugby for the fearsome Dragon’s rugby teams. Our girls competed not only in their final league games this week but travelled to James Bay for the yearend Jamboree. The coaches are extremely proud of the efforts of all the girls. The Boys’ rugby team also played their final games of the season at Royal Oak and demonstrated how much they have improved and learned in two really close matches. The boys will play in their yearend jamboree at St. Mike’s on Monday. If your child is interested in playing rugby outside of the school season, we encourage you to contact the Westshore Rugby Club in Langford for details on their expansive junior program. The coaches would like to say a special thanks to all the parents who helped support the program throughout the year. Until next season this is the coach saying keep your cleats on and your head’s up.  Coach Hart and Coach Federici

There is no guarantee that the shoes will look better after this stage (this is up to the student’s drawing/painting skills).
