Curriculum Implementation Day – no school for students 

Tuesday

Tea in the foyer – in the foyer for some herbal tea compliments of our Aboriginal Department. Students are encouraged to bring their own mug.

Sk8 Park – weather permitting @ lunch for students with waiver forms.

Grade 8 Need2 Suicide Education and Awareness presentations for Ms. Lennox and Ms. Nadeau’s classes today

Wednesday  

Subway Lunch Day @ lunch $3.50 per sandwich. Cash and/or munch cards accepted. Munch cards available in the office for $20

Wrestling Club @ lunch today in the Multi-Purpose Room. New members welcome and wear PE strip. 

Need2 Suicide Education and Awareness presentations for Ms. Barnes’ class 

Volleyball Practice today – Grade 6/7 girls’ and grade 6/7 boys’ volleyball practice after school 3-4pm. Mr. Vine and Mr. Donegani coaches. 

Thursday

Term 2 Exploratories begin today. Remember to bring the required equipment, clothing and supplies if needed for this exploratory. Names have been posted in the foyer if you have forgotten which one you’re in

Friday 

Wrestling Club @ lunch today in the Multi-Purpose Room. New members welcome and wear PE strip.

UVic B-Ball – We’ve rented a bus and we’re heading into the UVic CARSA Gym to watch the UVic Vikes play. Permission forms are due to the office by Wednesday and we are limited to 50 students. A donation of $5 donation helps cover cost of the tickets but is completely voluntary! Thanks to Ms. Bridal and Mr. Vine for sponsoring this event!

 

Keep Saving those bottles for the PAC bottle drive Saturday, February 10, from 9:00-1:00 on Sooke Road under the SEAPARC sign. If you’re not sure what to do with all those empties after Superbowl Sunday, we’d be happy to take them off your hands!  If you are available to help out that day, please e-mail journeymiddleschoolpac@gmail.com with your contact info and availability.  Thanks!
